Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Randall Scott Judkins, 45, of Silver Springs, was arrested at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday at Roop Street and Little Lane on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, failure to wear seat belt, fictitious license plates and possession of hypodermic needle. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• 7:20 a.m. - Broken window in the 800 block of East Robinson Street.

• 9:53 a.m. - Report of a person using false identification to open a checking account and pass bad checks.

• 3:38 p.m. - Coroner call in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway.

• 6:57 p.m. - Residential burglary report in the 3000 block of North Deer Run Road.

• 8:31 p.m. - Report of a window broken at a home on Mathe Drive.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• 11:23 a.m. - Coroner call on Wellington Cutoff in Smith Valley.

• 12:59 p.m. - A Fernley clerk reported someone stole something and fled in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

• 4:26 p.m. - Man from Harkin Circle in Dayton reported someone took his car at a party the previous evening and was refusing to return it.
