MLB: Kemp, Ethier lead Dodgers past Giants 6-3

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Matt Kemp tripled and drove in a run and Andre Ethier added an RBI double to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers past the San Francisco Giants 6-3 on Friday.

Rubby De La Rosa threw four hitless innings in his second spring start for the Dodgers, who have won three in a row after dropping eight straight. De La Rosa, the Dodgers' minor league player of the year last season, has not allowed a run in his last eight innings spanning three outings.

Ivan DeJesus was 3 for 4, Rafael Furcal went 2 for 4 and Xavier Paul hit a ninth-inning homer for Los Angeles.

Giants starter Jeff Suppan, competing for the long relief spot in the bullpen, allowed two runs and seven hits over four innings. He's allowed 10 runs over his last eight innings covering three appearances.

Aaron Rowand went 1 for 4 with a run for the Giants, who lost for the first time in four games against the rival Dodgers this spring.
