Shenea Ann Stephenson and Christopher Paul Strader were married June 26, 2010, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Reno, with the Rev. John Steinfeld officiating.

Shenea is the daughter of Richard and Regina Stephenson of Genoa, and the granddaughter of Ruth Carnes of Watsonville, Calif., and Ivadell Stephenson of Gardnerville. She is a 2000 graduate of Douglas High School and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2005 with degrees in international business, marketing and Spanish, and an economics minor. She is a project manager at International Game Technology in Reno.

Christopher is the son of Kathleen Strader and David Strader of Henderson, Nev., and the grandson of Barbara Tisdale of California, and Lillian Strader of Lakewood, Calif. He is a 2000 graduate of Green Valley High School in Henderson, and graduated from UNR in 2005 with a degree in biochemistry and a political science minor. Strader is an associate administrator/financial analyst at High Desert Therapists, Inc. in Carson City.

The couple attended graduate school at the University of Nevada, Reno, both graduating in 2007 with master's degrees in business administration.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and given away by her parents.

The 27-person bridal party included best men Mike Strader and Scott Strader, the groom's brothers, both of Henderson; and eight groomsmen, including Lance Horton, brother of the bride of Minden; Steven Bruce, brother-in-law of the bride, of Corralitos, Calif.; Jake Wysong, fraternity brother of the groom, of Henderson; Keith Hughes, friend of the groom, of Reno; Christopher McQuattie, fraternity brother of the groom, of Reno; Michael Herenick, fraternity brother of the groom, of Reno; Michael McDowell, fraternity brother of the groom, of Reno; and Joseph Hopper, friend of the groom, of Seattle; and matron of honor, Sherry Bruce, the bride's sister, of Corralitos, and maid of honor Ashley Brune, sorority sister of the bride, of Reno, and eight bridesmaids including Christine Horton, sister-in-law of the bride, of Minden, Nevada; Kayla Cobb, sorority sister of the bride, of Reno; Magali Wysong, sorority sister of the bride, of Henderson; Amber Hughes, friend of the bride, of Reno; Jenna McQuattie, sorority sister of the bride, of Reno; Jessica Egger, sorority sister of the bride, of Sterling, Va.; MaryKate Smiley, friend of the bride, of Reno; and Jenifer Rogers, friend of the bride, of Minden. There were two ring bearers, Brandt Horton and Bryce Horton, nephews of the bride, both of Minden, and two flower girls, Jenna Carnes and Emma Westcott, cousins of the bride, of Gilroy, Calif. and Watsonville, respectively, and three ushers, Christian Westcott, cousin of the bride, of Watsonville, and Caleb Bruce and Luke Bruce, nephews of the bride, both of Corralitos.

The reception for more than 430 guests was at the Siena Hotel Spa Casino Ballroom.

The couple honeymooned in Antigua, and make their home in Reno.

The wedding is featured in the summer/fall 2010 edition of Premier Bride of Reno, Carson & Lake Tahoe magazine.
