The National Weather Service is forecasting a big wet sloppy storm will roll into Western Nevada on Sunday night and Monday bringing a lot of moisture for areas south of Interstate 80. While snow levels will remain above 8,000 feet for the storm, higher passes such as Ebbetts, Monitor, Sonora and Tioga could be affected by the storm.

On Saturday, you can drive through to get a flu vaccination, but you'll have to get out of the car to vote. I'm planning to do both. The flu clinic at the Sunridge fire station is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Early voting opens at the courthouse, Topaz Ranch Estates and Stateline at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Think of it as an inoculation against pollsters and candidates.
Today will be mostly sunny with a high in the upper 70s. Tonight's low will be in the 40s. We should have a fair Saturday before the weather turns on Sunday.
