Murphy best

EDITOR:

Janet Murphy is clearly the best choice for state Assembly. I have been following the race and did some investigating. Janet Murphy is the only one that has the experience we need. Including other folks that have worked with her, from various agencies, she always has the best interest of the taxpayer's dollars at heart.

I've heard she was the most passionate about whom she would represent at the legislature and was never afraid to speak up when needed. And during her time as an adviser, she continued to tell the legislature, diversify the economy and cut back and review the expenditures. She chose to be a public servant and never waver. She has been running a utility for the last 19 years and proven you can stay under budget and keep the rates down.

She declined to take a raise herself because of the economy. She definitely is a fiscal conservative. I keep hearing this next session is critical not only for budget reasons but because reapportionment is to be reviewed. Janet Murphy knows the logistics of our great state, knows the ins and outs of the system and is highly regarded at the capitol. She also intends if she is elected to pledge her salary to the senior center, MEFIYI, family counseling, Austin's House and Boys & Girls Club. We need to wake up and elect people that have proven success as a public servant, that have no special interest other then the people she intends to represent.
