Minden resident Patricia "Patsy" Wheeler, 79, died May 16, 2010. She was born Oct. 24, 1930, and lived with her parents Peter and Monica Yestmentes, sister Marion and brother Peter in Hartford, Conn.
Mrs. Wheeler met her husband James Wheeler on the first day of school at the Art Institute of Chicago in September 1948. They married June 24, 1950.
She was engaged with taking good care of her home and raising daughters Marcia Ann Liska of Dayton, and Suzzane Demo of Williamsburg, Va., and sons Mathew Wheeler of Minden, and David Wheeler of Old Lyme, Conn.
Mrs. Wheeler enjoyed being creative and was a talented painter and crafter. She behaved like a lady her entire life, a legacy from her mother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
