Live entertainment at CVI

Entertainment is presented in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge, 6-11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

Denim & Lace plays country, classic rock, oldies and standards through Sunday. The group features Western Swing Hall of Fame fiddle player Lollie Jones who also plays mandolin, guitar, sax, drums, bass and sings; Curt Lee on guitar and Lanny Hanson on drums.

The Four Preps play in concert, 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, in the Shannon Ballroom. Tickets, $22, available at the CVI hotel desk or 783-6606.

Gong concert Tuesday

The Fireworks for the Soul: Tibetan Bowl and Gong Concert is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at 02 Wellness Studio, 1557 Zerolene Place, Minden. Tibetan bowl sound healer, recording artist and author Diane Mandle uses Tibetan bowls, bells, planetary gongs and light to create a sensory experience during her concerts. at Lone Tree

Lone Tree Gallery in Minden offers ongoing classes and workshops by local artists in various media this month and June.
