Douglas scholarship pageants Saturday in Carson City

The contestants for the 2010 Miss Douglas County and Miss Douglas County Outstanding Teen scholarship programs compete in a pageant, 1 p.m. Saturday, at Capital Christian Center, 1600 Snyder Lane in Carson City.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Programs are $5 in advance, $8 at the door.
