The Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club hosts the 42nd annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration, 6-10 p.m. Saturday at Harrah's Convention Center in Stateline, with an Irish buffet dinner of corned sirloin of beef, wine and microbrews, and dance music by JJ Entertainment.
The event features a silent auction of vacations, artwork, ski passes, hotel room night packages, spa treatments, golf passes and dining certificates.
The St. Patrick's Day Celebration is Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club's major fundraiser to provide college scholarships and donations to local nonprofit organizations.
Cost of $60 includes an entry in grand prize drawing for a 7-night Hawaiian vacation. Tickets may be purchased from any Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club member or Cheryl Zarachoff, (775) 376-5000, ext. 2. Tickets also available at the door.
