Ladies night of learning

Thank you to the employees of the Gardnerville Meeks Lumber for an awesome ladies night. The store employees and manager are the best. They are patient, attentive and generous. They always greet you with a smile.

On the evening of June 17, I enjoyed a birdhouse making experience, along with a tasty barbecue. There were door prizes of great value given.

When the drawing got to the last few tickets, the employees gathered more prizes so no lady would go home without a door prize. In these economic times, what a special blessing to see the compassion shown to us. We also received a substantial discount for purchases of store merchandise made that evening and received further parting gifts at the nights end. This is all at no expense to us ladies.

I have been attending these ladies nights for several years and have enjoyed them thoroughly. I have always enjoyed some wonderful projects, along with the food and prizes. It is a nice social event. I reacquaint with many, and meet new ones. I wouldn't miss it.
