Seeking vandals

EDITOR:

I am offering a free XBox or PS3 game and my neighbor is offering an additional $100 reward to the person or persons that brings the Douglas County Sheriff's Office or ourselves the names of the two juveniles that vandalized several vehicles on and around Lyell Way, Bluerock Road, Purple Sage Drive and Lassen Road in Gardnerville. The Douglas County Sheriffs case number is 10SO16379 and the contact officer's name is Dean Kumagai.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. June 11 when my other neighbor, who had just returned home from work, heard a commotion outside of his house. He called 911 and reported that two young males, perhaps attending the local Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School (which is the approximate age of the children) were coming down Bluerock Road and kicking a white fence down the street.  He remained out of site while on the phone with the sheriff's office and watched as the two kicked in the back hatch of a white minivan belonging to my next door neighbor.

He then reported that they kicked out the headlight on my car and the taillight of my other vehicle which were parked in our driveway. The two then crossed the street in front of the neighbor who was watching them as they proceeded east on Bluerock towards Long Valley Road and then proceeded down Lassen Way.  Other acts of vandalism to vehicles in the area include more headlights, taillight, and car windows. The two males are young, approximately sixth- or seventh-grade age, have shoulder length hair and wore a red shirt and the other wore a black shirt, both having on dark pants.
