EDITOR:
I just read the article this morning in the Friday Record-Courier about the new Ranchos Fishing Pond that will be built on Mitch Drive. I think this project is frivolous to say the least. If the public wants to fish they have the Carson River, Walker River, Topaz Lake and Lake Tahoe to use.
I'd prefer that Mr. Bob Spellberg, the manager of GRGID, put his time and energy into building a permanent home for the Boys and Girls Club or a new senior's citizen center on that land. These two projects would be better for our community.
