Dorothy Jordan Earwaker

Wellington resident Dorothy Jordan Earwaker, 84, died May 27, 2010, at the Lyon County Hospital.

Mrs. Earwaker was born Aug. 31, 1925, to Lloyd C. Jordan and Verna DeChambeau Jordan in Mason, Nev., and grew up in the family hotel in Bridgeport, Calif.

Mrs. Earwaker went to high school in Coleville, Calif., where she met William Earwaker. They were married in 1943. After William returned from the Navy, the couple moved to Coleville where they spent the rest of their lives together.

Mrs. Earwaker was preceded in death by William, her husband of 61 years, and sister Alice. She is survived by daughters Sharon (Jerry) Blanks and Peggy Parker (Jesus Aledo), grandsons Ty Parker and Will Blanks, and great-granddaughter Willow Gabrielle Blanks.

No service is planned. Mrs. Earwaker's ashes will be buried in the DeChambeau family plot in the Bridgeport Cemetery. The Neptune Society was in charge of arrangements.
