A memorial service is 1 p.m. March 5 at the Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley for Gardnerville resident Augustus "Bud" Pratt, 81, who died Feb. 14, 2010, at his home.
He was born Jan. 8, 1929, in San Francisco to Augustus and Margaret Pratt.
He is survived by wife Gloria; sons Chuck (Marsha) Pratt of Gardnerville, Gary (Pam) Pratt of San Ramon, Calif., John Pratt, San Leandro, Calif.; daughter Carolyn (Jim) Escorio, San Leandro, Calif.; and grandchildren Chris (Sylvia) Pratt, Sean Pratt, Jake (Crissy) Pratt, Ben (Wendy) Pratt, Amanda Pratt, Dwight Pratt, Ethan and Michaela Escorio and great-grandsons Jacob, Luke, Seth and Tanner.
Fitzhenrys is in charge of arrangements.
