Nominate historic women by March 5

"Douglas County Women: Preserving Their Legacy for the Future," is the theme for the Douglas County Historical Society's 10th annual Women's History Remembering Project.

Nominations are needed by March 5 of women who have made significant historical contribution to the quality of life and must live or have lived in Douglas County. Honorees are chosen from the nominees by the Women in History committee to be honored at a public reception March 20.
