EDITOR:
Our president doesn't know how it is to share a foxhole with a stranger. Actually, he has never dug or even seen a foxhole. He doesn't know what it is like to shower in an open tent with 40 naked men.
What he does know is there are no liberal votes in foxholes. Liberals count on others to defend their rights and freedom. "Don't ask don't tell" has worked well for years, so why mess with it?
The 40,000 number, that some toss out as gays who have been persecuted against in the military, is tainted.
Many who got the enlistment bonus and other benefits became gay the minute they got orders to deploy to a conflict.
