A memorial service is 1 p.m. Feb. 19 at Hillside Chapel, Whittier, Calif., for Gardnerville resident Carol Jeanblanc, 77, who died Jan. 28, 2010, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
Born Dec. 16, 1932, in Minneapolis, Minn., to John Joseph and Myrtle Glynn, she married Paul Jeanblanc in November 1951. They made their home in Norwalk, Calif., and raised their family there.
Carol moved to Gardnerville in 1994 to be close to her children and grandchildren. She worked for many years at Bobby Page's cleaners in Gardnerville, where she enjoyed meeting and chatting with all her customers.
Mrs. Jeanblanc is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Paul.
She is survived by her son Bob (Staci) Jeanblanc and daughter Cheryl Jeanblanc; grandchildren Jenny (Ralph) Jeanblanc, Lisa Chirrick, Bob (Beth) Jeanblanc, John (Jessica) Jeanblanc, Matt Williams, and Noelle Jeanblanc; 10 great-grandchildren and 11 brothers and sisters.
