The Carson Valley Sertoma Oktoberfest banner hangs across Highway 395 in Gardnerville. Sertoma is the first organization to use the banner offered through the Town of Gardnerville and with permission from the Nevada Department of Transportation. Carson Valley Sertoma's 19th annual Oktoberfest family celebration is noon to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Park in Gardnerville.
