Cayla Knapp, sr., Arkansas-Monticello: Knapp has 77 kills, nine aces and 38 digs on the year.


Dawson Joyce-Mendive, jr., Tufts: Tufts is off to a 4-1 start on the year. Joyce-Mendive has 38 kills in five matches.


Melissa Brown, fr., Umass-Boston: The Beacons are 9-2 to start the year. Brown has four kills and three aces so far.

Megan Mitchell, fr., Lees-McRae: The Bobcats beat Pfeiffer, a team picked to win the conference this year, as Mitchell posted 47 assists, 14 digs and 4 kills. She was named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Week for her efforts. She had 37 assists in a sweep of Belmont later in the week.
