Sierra Nevada Birth Network presents their first Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond Fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 3, at 1644 Highway 395, Minden, across from the CVI RV park.

Sierra Nevada Birth Network is a local chapter of BirthNetwork National, a nonprofit organization with the mission to promote awareness and availability of mother-friendly maternity care. BirthNetwork National is leading a grassroots movement based on the belief that birth can profoundly affect our physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

BirthNetwork National advocates mother-friendly care as defined by the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative through information, confidence, and support.
