A lane of Highway 395 and Stephanie Way is blocked by a two-car collision that occurred at 7:09 a.m. The accident between a red pickup and a brown sedan is reported as having minor injuries. One person received a cut above the eye, according to a unit onscene. The vehicles are blocking at least two lanes. Traffic is backed up for a way as well.
A man arrested in a big drug bust back in November 2008 is scheduled to appear for sentencing in Douglas County District Court this morning. Scott David Haas, 40, turned himself in on Nov. 13, 2008, after authorities found 64 marijuana plants growing in an apartment leased to him.
