Hazel E. Erwin, 96, of Gardnerville, died in Carson City on Aug. 18, 2009. Mrs. Erwin was born on July 12, 1913, in Louisiana to John G. and Mary (Jones) Rester. She is survived by her children, Frank Erwin, Darrel Erwin, Mary Shuckhart, Jill Threeton and Lenora Jones. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
