The Senior Expo, sponsored by NVEnergy and Nevada Rural Counties RSVP, is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St., Carson City.

The expo offers ways to apply for assistance to pay utility bills or for programs to make homes energy efficient. Learn how to conserve energy with low-cost and no-cost measures and get information about money-saving community, medical and social service programs. Also available is information on money management and free tax preparation assistance.
