Football: Tiny Mite Black suffers loss

Douglas suffered a loss despite the play of its strong defense.

Darrion Chastian and Cuinn Doherty anchored the defensive line along with Dominic Jorgensen, Hayden Robinson, Vince Sciarrotta and Nathan Rothschild.

Darrion chased a Cowboy running back down the field about 50 yards before making a touchdown saving tackle on the two yard line. Cuinn, Hayden, Vince and Nathan stuffed the line of scrimmage all night and made several tackles for little or no gain. Linebackers Adam Garren and Devon Watts control the middle of the field, while Jayden Neubauer, Tyler Crisp and Safety Cole Stephens help shut down the Cowboys running attack.

On offense, the front line of Alex Contreras, Coopr Yturbide, Paul Altringer, Dakota Sturgeon, Tanner Schultz, Darrion Chastain and Jayden Neubauer blocked extremely well all night long.

The Tiny Mite Black squad has shown tremendous improvement all year long and play hard every game.
