New number to call for agricultural burning

The number to call for agricultural burn permit holders to report that they are burning has changed.

Douglas County Emergency Services/911 Dispatch has recently upgraded their phone system and changed the phone number that agricultural burn permit holders use to report open burning. The new phone number is 782-7964. Agricultural permit holders should continue to follow the other regulations on their permit.

East Fork Fire and Paramedic Districts has not yet opened burning for non-agricultural permit holders but expect to do so in the next few weeks. Questions regarding open burning should be directed to the East Fork Fire and Paramedic Districts at 782-9040.
