A service is 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in Seattle for former Gardnerville chiropractor Dr. Joseph W. Dobler, 66, who died Sept. 16, 2009, at his home.
Born Aug. 22, 1943, in Seattle to Terry and Florence Dobler, he grew up in Spokane, Wash.
He graduated from Gonzaga University in 1966, and later graduated from Los Angeles School of Chiropractic.
He was a chiropractor in the communities around Lake Tahoe and Gardnerville until his retirement.
He is survived by daughter Patricia Dobler, and his brothers Tim and Mike Dobler.
Services will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Seattle.
