Bring a friend and go holiday gift shopping while sampling fine wines and networking with other breast cancer awareness supporters at the holiday Shopping Pink for Komen event at the Northern Nevada Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 3-7 p.m. Dec. 4, at 50 Freeport Blvd., Suite 17, Sparks.
"We're inviting the community to join us for a relaxed holiday event where they can find unique Komen gifts for special people on their gift list, including jewelry, apparel, bags and unique items such as Komen pet accessories and Komen Wolf Pack football jerseys," said Lucy McGuire, Northern Nevada Affiliate board president.
Spin Komen's I am the Cure Wheel for free gifts and discounts of up to 50 percent. Opportunity drawing prizes include an American Airlines roundtrip ticket and Legends gift card.
