Douglas Pop Warner teams to compete for championship

Douglas Pop Warner is finishing another successful season with two teams playing for the Sagebrush Empire League Championship Saturday.

The Junior Pee Wee Black Tigers and Junior Midget Tigers teams will play for the right to represent Northern Nevada in the Regional Championships in Santa Clara, Calif., in the upcoming weeks.

Team members include Nicholas Abreu, Kyle Adams, Tristan Beckwith, Andrew Bigam, Nathan Clinger, Javier Contreras, Joshua Curtis, Andrew Esparza, Kaleb Foster, Cody Frontino, Michael Gerth, David Gervais, Johnathan Hoyt, Joshua Jackson, Cale Kynett, Brycen Lawrence, Ryan Lippincott, Conner Lyons, Tyler Marguth, Cole Peck, Jordan Peters-Moran, Garet Rice, Dilyn Rooker, Zachary Rowden, Justin Schindler, Taylor Seamons, Bailey Vidaurri, Jacob Wartgow, Jaden Wass, Matthew Wasser and Christopher Wilson.
