Make reservations by Friday for the Carson Valley chapter of Women Entrepreneurs of the World holiday mixer, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 11, at the Stodick model home, 1380 Stodick Lane, Gardnerville. Make reservations at carsonvalley@weoftheworld.com
The informal mixer includes a brief meeting and overview of WE of the World at 6 p.m. There will be light hors d'oeuvres, no-host wine bar, raffle and silent auction. No charge for the mixer, although voluntary donations from members will be accepted at the door.
The group meets on the fourth Thursday of every month for networking, lunch and a guest speaker. Due to the holidays, November and December meetings will be combined at the holiday mixer. Regular meetings resume 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 28 at Two Guys from Italy in Gardnerville.
The philosophy of Women Entrepreneurs of the World is that networking doesn't have to be expensive to be effective. The mission of WE is to help build personal and professional success for its members through focused networking opportunities, local rallies and regional conferences, equitable relationship development, think-tank mastermind groups, a progressive mentor program, and an assistance program for start-up businesses from concept to funding.
