Turkeys, food needed at food closet

Turkeys and food are needed at the Carson Valley Community Food Closet.

Buy any size turkey and bring to the food closet, 1255 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville, 12:30-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. Information, 782-3711. Turkeys may also be donated through area grocery stores. Boy Scouts will leave notice Saturday about neighborhood food collection on Nov. 14. Douglas High School Block D students plan to be out collecting money to buy turkeys.
