Curtain falls for 'Hollywood Arms'

EDITOR:

The curtain has descended, the lights are off, and all that remains are fond memories of many months of preparation and hard work. I have many people to thank, over 40 in all.

Most of all I want to say thanks to all who support the arts in Douglas County, without you our efforts would be futile. You are why we put literally hundreds of hours into our productions, because we enjoy seeing you laugh and cry and come back over and over again. Once again we have managed to produce a financially successful show giving us the opportunity to continue bringing more quality entertainment to our community.

Special thanks go to Sharlene Irete at The Record-Courier for her superb coverage, Marabel Moorhead and Carolyn Lancaster for their incredible job publicizing the show, Norris Edson stage manager, set designer, and construction manager, without whom I would not have done this show, Justin Clouser, John Smith, Dave Erickson, Bil Luckey, Dave Thomas, Vicki Hargrove and of course the incredible cast: Margaret Edson, Victoria Grathwohl, Joel Hannel, Samantha Vardas-Doane, Melissa Marsh, Doug Midkiff, Lisa Falanga, and my son Thomas Rao. Catch us this coming October for the hilarious comedy "Moon Over Buffalo" by Ken Ludwig directed by Margaret Edson.
