Carson Valley United Methodist Church hosts concert artists Jim and Jean Strathdee for the Spirit Song workshop, 9:30 a.m. March 28, at the church, 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville.
The Strathdees have written hymns and songs including "I am the Light of the World" and "What Does the Lord Require?" They will give an instructional workshop of new inspirational hymns, anthems, chants and choruses from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Rehearsal with the Carson Valley United Methodist choir follows at 1 p.m.
