Valley medics responding to calls in Carson, Markleeville

Carson Valley rescuers have been called out to support surrounding agencies this morning.

Units from Station 12 in Sunridge were called to help in the collapse of a trench that reportedly trapped two men on Curry Street in Carson City at 10 a.m.

At 10:15 a.m., a man reportedly covered in blood turned up at the Alpine County courthouse in Markleeville.

The man, a 68-year-old angler, fell down and hit his head.

East Fork Fire & Paramedic Districts personnel from Minden responded to support Woodfords volunteers.
