A funeral mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gall Catholic Church for Gardnerville resident Augusta M. Best, 92, who died at her home on Jan. 26, 2009.
Mrs. Best was born in Fort Smith, Ark., on Nov. 16, 1916, to John and Mae Moellers. She lived in Gardnerville for the last 20 years coming from Mountain View, Calif. Among her survivors are her sons Stephen and Jeffrey LaClare, sister Sister Valeria Moellers, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Capitol City Cremation & Burial.
