Look good workshop offered

Volunteers are needed for the American Cancer Society's "Look Good, Feel Better" program for women undergoing cancer treatment. A training workshop is 1:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Carson Valley Medical Center, 1107 Highway 395, Gardnerville.

Volunteer beauty professionals lead small groups through practical, hands-on experience to learn about makeup, skin care, nail care, and ways to deal with hair loss. Participants receive a free make-up kit to use during and after the workshop.
