FFA volunteer honored with award

Doris Hoskin received the Outstanding Cooperation Award for Region 1 of the United States on Dec. 3. This award was presented by the National Association of Agriculture Educators to individuals or businesses that provide outstanding service to agricultural education.

Hoskin has volunteered to agricultural programs for more than 20 years and has received the Carson Valley FFA Chapter honorary degree, given to those who do exemplary work for the chapter. Hoskin has helped with FFA contests, such as horse judging, dairy judging, livestock judging and job interview.

The Carson Valley FFA is very proud of Doris Hoskin for her wonderful achievement, and is very grateful for all she does.
