No services have been announced for 20-year Gardnerville resident Welton Louis Alexius, who died Jan. 5, 2009, in Carson City.
Born Dec. 24, 1924, in Louisiana to Donald and Ernestine Alexius, he married Bernice Howard on June 25, 1973, in Reno.
Mr. Alexius was a teamster for 35 years, who came to Nevada from Pinole, Calif.
He is survived by wife Bernice, sons Welton Louis Jr.; Donald (Michelle), Rocky Arnold; sister Gertrude Valdez; two grandchildren; two nephews and a niece.
Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
