Michael Eugene Kivi

A celebration of life is July 25 for former Minden resident Michael Eugene Kivi, 41, who died Feb. 18, 2009, after a lengthy illness.

Born July 25, 1967, to Gene and Janice Kivi, he graduated from Whittell High School in 1985. He worked for Pinetree Printing in Stateline for 25 years.

Mr. Kivi was remembered as a kind-hearted, good natured, fun-loving person. He was loved and will be missed.

Mr. Kivi is preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by children Chelsea and Christian and their mother, Marcy Kivi; father Gene (Patrice) Kivi of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; sister Colleen (Jeff) Barling and their children, Brenden and Alyssa of Vacaville, Calif.; and his girlfriend, Lynn Dahl.
