Turkey Bingo a hit

The Carson Valley Kiwanis Club thanks the community for its support of our Turkey Bingo on Nov. 21. The afternoon and evening sessions were well attended and enjoyable for both bingo players and Kiwanis workers.

We are grateful to the many businesses and individuals who donated raffle prizes: Tahoe Creamery for the donation of ice cream, the Douglas High School Key Club for their service at the two sessions, The Record-Courier and the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce for publicity, the Town of Minden for the use of CVIC Hall and of course, the players themselves.

All proceeds from Kiwanis-sponsored events are used to support the youth of our community.

Thanks again, and we hope to see you in the spring at Ham Bingo.
