Thanks to Smith and Bernhard

I was happy to see two town board members, Jerry Smith and Robin Bernhard, voting against the "new and improved" Walmart. It gives me a glimmer of hope we have a few of our leaders that give a darn about our valley and small business.

I would like to see Walmart pack up and head south.

Hey, since the company can make the building quaint, maybe Carmel or Solvang will welcome your store. For those of you who love shopping at Walmart, let me remind you, there's one north of us just a few miles.

You can dress up an elephant to be village-like, but in the end it's still an elephant.
