Woman gets six months in jail for domestic battery

A woman with five arrests for driving under the influence and domestic battery was sentenced Monday to six months in Douglas County Jail.

Rebekah Holler, 37, pleaded guilty Monday to her second domestic battery charge. If Holler is convicted a third time, she faces prison.

Holler asked to be sent for in-patient alcohol treatment, but EnEarl refused, noting she'd been sent once before.

"It costs $3,000. You're back here saying, 'I'm an alcoholic and you want to go back.' You got drunk again. No m'am," EnEarl said. "I tried to help you the last time."

The victim said Holler had three arrests for driving under the influence and two for domestic violence.

"I don't know where I stand right now," he said. "I don't know where our future's going to be."

When Holler is released from jail, EnEarl ordered her to complete 52 weeks of domestic battery counseling.
