Open house at drop-in center Thursday

Check out the new staff and facility at the Tahoe Youth & Family Services open house 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Douglas Drop In Center, 719 Tillman Lane in the Gardnerville Ranchos.

Since June 2007, there have been more than 1,100 youth visits to the South Lake Tahoe and Gardnerville Drop In Centers. Visitors have been helped with food and drink items, phone cards, clothing, socks, hygiene kits, shower vouchers and laundry.
