Thousands coming to Palin

Unless you're going to see Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin today it might be a good idea to avoid William Street between Stewart and Saliman. About a thousand people a day have been signing up to see the Republican vice presidential nominee with 4,000 having responded by Friday morning. Don't be surprised to see 5,000-6,000 people there this afternoon. Doors open at 2 p.m. so the Secret Service can conduct security checks. That will go a lot faster if you don't bring a lot of stuff. Palin goes on stage at the Poly Express Pavilion at 6 p.m. Park across from Mills Part or at Carson High School and take a shuttle over.
