Carson Valley may experience the first freeze of the season early Tuesday morning when the low temperature taps 32 degrees. Areas of the Valley where cold settles may see even lower temperatures. Cold sensitive plants like tomatoes should be covered. The lows will snap back up into the 50s by Wednesday.
