Girls' Soccer: Lady Tigers shut Fallon out

The Douglas High girls' soccer team picked up a 6-0 win over Fallon Tuesday afternoon in Minden.


C.J. Baumgartner contributed two goals for the Tigers while Ally Freitas added her 38th career goal and Katie Dry and Kyra Barth each scored unassisted goals.


Tia Lyons, Dry and Dany Heidt each had assists in the game.


Douglas posted its third shutout of the season with the defensive efforts of Mackenzie Cauley, Cora Moody, Sage Lyons, Shelby Eisele, Kelsey Conklin and Shannon Hubbard.


Christy Harvey played the first half in net and Brianna Randall took the second.


Douglas improved to 12-0-1 overall on the year and 6-0-1 through the first complete round of Sierra League play.
