Tahoe man faces prison for DUI

A Lake Tahoe man pleaded guilty Tuesday to his second felony conviction of driving under the influence.

Larry Halverson said his blood-alcohol content was .18, more than twice the legal limit of .08 for driving in Nevada, when he was arrested Oct. 21 in the casino core.

Halverson faces up to 15 years and a $5,000 fine at his sentencing Jan. 13. The state has agreed to recommend two-to-seven years.
