Douglas County Senior Services sponsors two senior excursions for the holidays.
The senior center hosts a holiday shopping trip to Meadowood Mall in Reno on Dec. 4. The bus departs from the senior center at 9 a.m. and returns around 4 p.m. Bring a bag lunch or purchase lunch at the food court at the mall. Cost for the trip is $10. Call the senior center to make a reservation.
Another holiday trip is to see the Holiday Ice Spectacular on Dec. 14. The $50 cost for the excursion includes transportation, lunch in the Chef's Buffet and the show. Make reservations at the senior center by Dec. 12 at 783-6455.
