Republican District 5 County Commission candidate Stuart Posselt, Republican has launched a Web site www.slp4douglascommissioner.org
"This site contains my extensive management resume, discussion of the important issues facing Douglas County, my calendar and my contact data," Posselt said.
He asked that all Republican voters should take a look at his Web site to get to know him and understand his positions.
Posselt said all Republicans should vote in the Aug. 12 primary.
"They should cast their ballot for me in this very important primary to make a change in the current direction of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners."
During the western regional conference of the Alliance for Retired Americans on May 7 in Las Vegas, Assembly District 39 candidate JoEtta Brown was elected to the regional board of directors, representing Hawaii, Arizona, California and Nevada. Brown, a Gardnerville resident, serves on the Douglas County Planning Commission.
