Two stabbed in fight at Stateline

Two men were stabbed Tuesday night following a fight at a Stateline casino parking lot, authorities said this morning.

The condition of the injured men, both in their 30s, is non-life threatening, said Sgt. Jim Halsey with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

The fight involved four men and happened at around 11 p.m. in the parking lot of Lakeside Inn and Casino.

Two of the four men fighting were stabbed with a knife and taken to Barton Memorial Hospital for their injuries, Halsey said. The motive for the crime hasn't been determined, he added.

Douglas County Sheriff's detectives are handling the investigation. One of the four men involved in the fight was taken into custody in El Dorado County and later released.
