Bingo night benefits Ristau

The Gardnerville Council of the Knights of Columbus is dedicating the March 14 Bingo Night to Cecilia Ristau.

Funds from this event will help cover medical care related expenses not covered by her medical insurance. Ristau is undergoing treatment for medical conditions including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple autoimmune diseases. Recently, a foot infection led to the amputation of the little toe on her left foot and the bone to the ankle.

The Knights of Columbus host Knights Bingo Nights on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at the St. Gall Pastoral Center, 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville. These events, which are open to everyone over the age of 21, provides funds to support various community projects and other public needs.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and play starts at 7 p.m. Game packs are $20 which include 3-card warm-up, 10 games, a raffle ticket and a progressive blackout game card.
